The 697th Lord Mayor's Show marks the first "Lady Mayor's Show," with Dame Susan Langley DBE becoming the third woman to serve and adopting the title "Lady Mayor." The annual event dates back to 1215 and features over 7,000 participants, 200 horses, and several floats. The Lady Mayor travels a three-mile route to the Royal Courts of Justice in the State Coach.
