The “Nekrocomicon” festival was shut down early following police demands. The day before, the festival’s organizer Kazakh citizen Alexey Samsonov was detained by law enforcement. The Interior Ministry is seeking his deportation from Russia as a citizen of Kazakhstan. Earlier, the event organizers were also accused of “promoting Satanism,” which is now equated with extremism.
