The Mau Forest Complex Integrated Conservation and Livelihood Improvement Programme aims to restore 33,000 hectares of degraded forest while supporting the livelihoods of local communities and addressing the impacts of climate change. This project is part of Kenya’s ambitious plan to plant 15 billion trees over the next 10 years.
