Hundreds of far-right activists marched through Central London on a so-called crusade to “reclaim London from the Islamists”. The demonstration was originally planned to take place in Whitechapel before it was moved by the Police because of a “realistic prospect of serious disorder”. A counter-protest by Stand Up to Racism took place in East London instead.
