Over 20,000 people with various signs speaking out about the state of education under the current Premier Danielle Smith, rallied outside the Alberta Legislature as the Throne Speech was being read in the legislature. Teachers have been on strike since October 7th and have rejected 2 offers from the Province. The Main Issues are Class Sizes, Educational Assistant Support, and wages. Teachers made an offer to the province, which has not been responded to. The Province is expected to introduce back to work legislation Monday.
