Thousands of protesters from groups associated with the far-right Polish political party, Konfederacja, gathered in the city center to protest against immigration to Poland. Antifascist counter protesters unfurled a banner causing temperatures to run high. Far-right political parties have been stoking fear of illegal immigration as a weapon of war from both the Belarusian and German borders.
