Following the end of the national conference season for the UK political parties the two traditional major parties have been left behind by the populist Reform UK right wing party. A wave of nationalism has been seen in the UK with flags being hoisted on lamp posts and anti immigration and far right protests held in major cities and outside hotels housing asylum seekers. Both the governing Labour party and the official opposition Conservative party have been accused of moving to the right wing with policies in an attempt to appease voters leaving for the right wing Reform UK party.
