The multi-storey building of Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School collapsed while students were performing afternoon prayers. At least 26 people were confirmed dead and more than 30 students were still trapped under the rubble with no further chance of survival, according to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).
