The funeral of Sergiusz Piasecki, a veteran of the Polish-Bolshevik war, intelligence agent, Home Army soldier and acclaimed writer took place. The ceremony begins with a mass at the Field Cathedral of the Polish Army attended by the President of Poland and state officials. Piasecki’s remains previously resting in Hastings, United Kingdom are reinterred at Powązki Military Cemetery.
