The tulip flower festival is called Floriade, a free annual event that transforms Commonwealth Park with over a million blooms and a variety of entertainment, workshops and cultural displays from mid-September to mid-October each year. A separate event is Tulip Top Gardens which also runs during this period and offers a different garden experience.
