On the 24th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, people gathered in downtown Manhattan, New York City to pay tribute to those lost on 9/11. People visited the memorial pools at Ground Zero of the World Trade Center, planting flowers and photos of loved ones who perished on 9/11.
