While peace talks continue in Türkiye between Abdullah Ocalan, the imprisoned leader of the Kurdish organization PKK, and the Turkish state, September 1 World Peace Day was celebrated with a march held in Diyarbakir with the participation of thousands of people. The march was organized by the Amed Labor and Democracy Platform, which consists of many democratic society institutions, and Kurdish parties and organizations.
