Starting September 1, 2025, amendments to federal legislation in Russia come into effect, prohibiting foreign agents from engaging in educational and enlightenment activities. Although the law does not explicitly ban the sale of books by authors with this status, booksellers prefer to err on the side of caution and are already removing such products from shelves and catalogs.
