The Town Hall of Paris’s 17th District hosted a high-profile conference titled - Iran Insurgé face au régime des exécutions bringing together Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, Geoffroy Boulard, Mayor of Paris-17, international jurists including Professor Javaid Rehman (former UN Special Rapporteur on Iran), Mark Ellis (Executive Director of the International Bar Association), Herta Däubler-Gmelin (former German Justice Minister), Wolfgang Schomburg (former German Supreme Court Judge), Dominique Attias (former President of the Federation of European Bars), Joachim Rücker, former President of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Alain Vivien, former French Minister and Gilbert Mitterrand (François Mitterrand Foundation). The event marked the anniversary of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners and condemned the recent surge of executions in Iran, highlighting the regime’s crimes against humanity and international support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom.
