Authorities in Kashmir ordered the takeover of the management of 215 schools run by the Falah-e-Aam Trust, an affiliate of the separatist organisation Jammu and Kashmir Jamaat-e-Islami that was banned by the Government of India in its efforts to crackdown on the separatist sentiments in the disputed Himalayan region.
