Protesters gather outside the Australian Labor Party (ALP) Conference at Moonee Valley Racecourse voicing opposition to federal and state government policies. The demonstration calls for immediate recognition of Palestine, an end to military ties with Israel, protection of public housing and defence of union rights. Organised by grassroot groups including Free Palestine Coalition Naarm and public housing advocates, the protest also condemns anti-protest laws and Indigenous deaths in custody. Activists urge the ALP to take a stronger stand on justice, equity and human rights. Protesters failed to see or disrupt the conference.
