Members of the climate action group, Ostatnie Pokolenie (The Last Generation) deliver a document to the right-wing President-elect Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace. In frustration at the inaction of the Polish government in addressing the climate emergency, the group has written a draft bill that seeks to rebuild the public transport system. In the next stage of their direct action campaigns, the group has stated it will do all it can to ensure the bill reaches the floor of the Sejm (Polish Parliament) this year. In doing so, they begin this morning with the incoming Head of State who will assume office on the 6th of August.
