“A Rapa Das Bestas" is an ancient Galician festival (dating back to the 15th century) held in the first days of July. It consists of capturing wild horses in the wild, leading them to a curro (enclosed enclosure) and cutting their manes to deworm and care for them. It is a ritual of strength and tradition that symbolizes the coexistence between man and nature celebrated primarily in Sabucedo.
