Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-N.J a candidate for New jersey governor, visited Kearny, NJ on the Fourth of July with Mayor Carol Jean Doyle, stopping at the town’s veterans service organizations—the VFW, American Legion and Marine Corps League West Hudson Detachment—to thank local veterans. Sherrill also greeted residents at Veterans Memorial Field during the town’s Independence Day celebration.
