Forest fires broke out in many parts of Izmir, covering the city with smoke. The fires, which have been growing with the effect of the wind for days, also spread to Gaziemir, one of the central districts of the city. Many vehicles were burned in the fire that spread to the industrial zone. People say the response to the fire is inadequate.
