A collective blood donation event was held at Mae Sot General Hospital in Thailand to commemorate the 80th birthday of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. The donation drive was led by the Overseas Irrawaddy Association (OIA), with more than 110 donors participating. The participants were members of the Myanmar community in Mae Sot, including migrant workers, activists, and people from various backgrounds, all united in solidarity with their homeland.

The people's leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been detained by the Myanmar military junta since February 1, 2021. The people of Myanmar continue to call for her swift release and remain deeply concerned about her health.
