The organizers estimated the turnout was some 150,000 the second demonstration in as many weeks which surpassed the estimated figure of Sunday 15 May of 100.000 and said to have been the largest in 20 years. The demonstrators wore the colour red to symbolize the ‘The Red Line’ that should have been drawn by the Schoof cabinet. The demonstrators want the cabinet to take firm action to stop Israel’s continued violation of the law of war. The demonstrators walked from the Malieveld to the Peace Palace, the location of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) where a genocide case against Israel is pending.
