World Blood Donor Day is commemorated on 14th June every year to raise global awareness about the need for safe, regular, and voluntary blood donations and to thank blood donors like Sanya Alpha Kennedy, Kenya’s top blood donor who give freely and regularly to help many people in dire need of blood products for survival.
