A snap rally was held on the steps of the Victorian Parliament in Melbourne demanding justice for Kumanjayi White, a First Nations man who died while being restrained by Northern Territory Police in a Coles supermarket in Alice Springs. Organisers and supporters called for an independent investigation, the release of CCTV and body-worn footage, and an end to racialised police narratives. The rally stood in solidarity with the Warlpiri people, the Yuendumu community, and other families demanding truth and accountability.
