Eid al-Adha (in Arabic) is a festival of sacrifice, which is one of the main ones in Islam. Eid al-Adha marks the end of the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage of Muslims around the world to Mecca. During the day, the main ritual of Eid al-Adha is held — sacrifice. Usually, a ram is slaughtered for it, but camels, cows, and sheep are also allowed.
