Animal rights organizations AnimaNaturalis and CAS International held a protest at the Las Ventas Bullring in Madrid, coinciding with the San Isidro Festival. Fifty activists covered their bodies with buckets of blood (a substitute) to represent the death of bulls during these Madrid festivities, while others accompanied them with slogans against bullfighting.
