Nationalists gathered to take part in a protest that was called "March Against Migration". The march was organized by the Border Defense Movement (Ruch Obrony Granic) organization and held under the slogan “Stop the wave of mass migration from alien cultures". The protesters demand deportation of illegal migrants and tighten border controls with Germany which the organizers accuse of sending to Poland illegal migrants who were detained on German soil. Protesters shouted slogans like “This is Poland!”, “Muslim migrants are not welcome here!” and other anti-emigrant slogans some of which had a clearly xenophobic tone.
