Homes of Suspected Kashmir Militant Attackers Demolished
Soldiers in Indian-administered Kashmir blew up the family homes of two men in Tral and Bijbhera, whom police allege were part of the gang that carried out the region's deadliest attack against civilians in decades. Indian forces have launched a massive manhunt for those responsible for killing 26 tourists, including two foreign nationals, in an off-road meadow in scenic Pahalgam. Officials have called the attack the deadliest militant strike in the troubled Himalayan region since 2000, sparking a large-scale security response and global outrage.
