The traditional Fon Leb (fingernail dance), a classical northern Thai folk performance set a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Thai Dance with a total of 7,218 participants. The performance was held to commemorate the 729th anniversary of Chiang Mai’s founding serving as a vibrant expression of Thailand’s treasured cultural heritage.
