19-year-old Darya Kozyreva is accused of discrediting the army. She is charged with two episodes.
The first concerns an action on the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, when she attached a piece of paper with a quote from a poem by Taras Shevchenko to his monument.
The second relates to an interview in which Kozyreva called the war “monstrous” and “criminal.”
Darya Kozyreva was sentenced to two years and eight months in a penal colony.
