High school students, university students and education unions protested against the Ministry of National Education's teacher appointments in well-established high schools within the scope of project schools. High school students reacted angrily to the dismissal of their teachers. The sit-in protests started in the morning at the school gardens and continued with marches on the streets at the end of the day.
