A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck near Julian, east of San Diego, around 10 a.m. on April 14, shaking much of Southern California. The quake was felt across San Diego County, with reports extending to Los Angeles County and even parts of Mexico. According to the USGS, several aftershocks followed the main quake. Residents in Julian reported feeling strong shaking for a few seconds, but there were no injuries or significant damage reported in the town.
