Taqueria El Califa de León in Mexico City is the first taqueria to be awarded a star in the prestigious Michelin guide, in 2024. It has been serving tacos for more than 60 years. Its specialty is the “gaonera”, a beef taco created in honor of Mexican bullfighter Rodolfo Gaona.
