The Gilman Fire began at the La Jolla community of San Diego, California, on January 23rd around 2 PM, burning approximately three acres of land. The San Diego Fire Department, along with assistance from neighboring city fire departments, responded swiftly and managed to control the wildfire within an hour. As a precaution, an evacuation order was issued, and the San Diego Police Department temporarily shut down Gilman Drive to ensure public safety.
