According to local witnesses, they first heard two explosions; a small explosion at first, then followed by a much larger one. The incident accord in a residential area of The Hague around 06:15 (05:15 GMT) this morning. As of this moment there are three deaths and recorded and three of the residents hospitalized. A search is still ongoing for other residents. The City’s mayor, Jan van Zanen, was quoted as saying, “It was still unknown as to how many are still missing” and added “The community should prepare for the worst-case scenario.” Rescue dogs are still coming the area, and it was earlier thought up to 20 people may have been in the flats during the time of the explosion. Police have not ruled out foul play and a search for a driver who was seen living the area at high speed shortly after the blast. Information from NOS News.
