A candlelit demonstration in Warsaw, Poland by Neil Milton / SOPA Images
On the evening of the 3rd of November, pro-Palestine activists and protestors against the Israeli genocide in Gaza met at the de Gaulle roundabout in Warsaw to commemorate the fallen. As people around the world remember those who were killed in the world wars and other conflicts, the protestors each lit a symbolic candle for the victims of this genocide. Carrying candles, photographs, and names of the victims, the demonstration walks toward the monument of Copernicus where several figures speak to the gathered audience. The organisers also encourage participants to remember all the Palestinians fighting for their lives every day.
