Tihar is a Hindu festival celebrated in Nepal for 5 days. On the second day of Tihar, Nepalese people worship dogs and feed them delicious food. The festival is known as Kukkur Pooja or Kukkur Tihar. According to Nepalese tradition, one of the festive days is dedicated solely to the human's most devoted friend and guardian.
