Filipinos pay a visit to their loved one in a public cemetery in Antipolo City, Philippines on October 31, 2024. Filipinos observe a special holiday called Undas, which is derived from the Spanish word “honras” meaning “honors”. Undas is a combination of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day. One of the most common practices during Undas is to visit the cemeteries where their loved ones are buried. Filipinos usually clean and decorate the graves with flowers, candles, and other offerings.
