A senior officer of North Korea's army and a close aide to the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, has arrived in Russia to supervise North Korean troops sent to Russia, a Ukrainian military source said that on Oct. 26, Kyodo news agency reported. In a Kyodo news report, sources said the troops, recently deployed in Russia possibly joined Moscow's more than two-year war against Ukraine, will be overseen by Kim Yong Bok, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.
