A fire shutdown traffic during morning rush hour east of Richmond, VA on Monday morning. At approximately 8:15 a.m. Virginia State Police responded to northbound Interstate 295 on the Varina-Enon Bridge for a tractor-trailer that caught fire. After initial investigation, it was found that the truck struck the bridge on the right hand side before catching fire. It was hauling paper products, The driver was not injured and charges remain pending. This crash remains under investigation."
