The Chiang Mai Municipality issued an announcement on September 24, 2024, at 3:45 PM, advising residents in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to move their belongings to higher ground and prepare for potential flooding in their areas. The water level at the P1 monitoring station is predicted to reach the critical level of 3.70 meters, with a peak of 3.90 meters expected between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM on September 25, 2024.
