Members of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) marched to Izmir Alsancak Port after the USS Wasp, an amphibious assault ship sent to the region by the US to protect Israel, docked at Izmir Alsancak Port. The anti-war demonstration was organized to support the people of Palestine and the Middle East. It was reported that a vigil will be held in front of the port until the ship leaves Izmir.
