The heathlands of the Hoge Veluwe National Park are in full bloom. The blooming purple heather attracts each year lots of tourists, hikers, and families to enjoy this outstanding nature event. This area is a nature reserve of 5000 hectares on the Veluwe in the province of Gelderland, and it's home to a wide diversity of plant and animal species.
