Sea Turtle Conservation Center-Royal Thai Navy: Protecting and Educating in Chonburi, Thailand by Pongmanat Tasiri / SOPA Images
The Sea Turtle Conservation Center of the Royal Thai Navy was established with a focus on protecting and conserving four species of sea turtles found in Thailand: the leatherback sea turtle, green turtle, hawksbill turtle, and olive Ridley turtle, all of which are at risk of extinction. The center oversees egg incubation, raises sea turtles during their early stages, and releases them back into the wild.
