After Sheikh Hasina fled the country, students painted graffiti on various streets in Dhaka,Bangladesh. And today Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus led a solemn tribute to Bangladesh's fallen independence heroes on August 9 in the first act of his interim government, after a student-led uprising forced predecessor Sheikh Hasina into exile. Yunus, 84, was sworn in on Thursday night after returning home from Europe at the request of protest leaders, following the sudden end of Hasina's 15-year rule.
