On May 15, a group of pro-Palestinian protestors occupy an abandoned building at the University of California, Berkeley. In response, on May 16, police officers from multiple departments, including the California Highway Patrol(CHP), the San Francisco Police Department(SFPD), and the Berkeley Police Department, gather around the building. The officers arrest at least 12 protestors, clear the building, and disperse the demonstrators surrounding the area.
