The April Fair is one of the most international and popular festivals in Seville. Created in 1847 as a livestock fair, over time the festive aspect of the event ended up taking over the commercial part, until it became an essential event for Sevillians. For a week, more than a thousand booths installed in the fairgrounds became the second home of the inhabitants of this city, a space where they can share and have fun in company until the early hours of the morning. While the festival lasts, people dressed in typical Andalusian costumes: men in traditional country clothing, and women in flamenco dresses.
