Animal rights activists gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in London in protest against a reported cat torture ring in China. Currently there are virtually no animal protection laws in China, and a disturbing trend has reportedly arisen of young people filming themselves brutally torturing cats and kittens, as well as other animals, and posting videos on social media.
