Funeral for fallen NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller was held with hundreds of police n officers lined up in front of the St. Rosa of Lima Toman Catholic Church. According to police reports, Officer Diller, aged 31, and his partner were performing a traffic stop for an illegally parked car in Far Rockaway. During the encounter, an individual in the vehicle brandished a firearm and aimed it at the officers, prompting an exchange of gunfire. Tragically, Officer Diller sustained a gunshot wound to the torso below his bullet-resistant vest and was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
