Lviv residents and forcibly displaced residents of occupied Mariupol attend an event commemorating those who died 2 years ago at the Mariupol Drama Theatre, near the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. Residents of Mariupol gathered near the theatres of Lviv and many cities of Ukraine and lit memorial lamps to commemorate those who lost their lives. On March 16, 2022, the Russian occupiers dropped aerial bombs on the theatres in Mariupol, ignoring the inscription in capital letters "CHILDREN" in front of the building. At that time, hundreds of civilians, mostly women and children, were hiding in the theatre. The exact number of dead is still unknown, various studies call the number from 300 to 600 people
